I am proud to say that I am on my last leg of my collegiate career and I finally started my thesis and have successfully completed it. When I did, I realized that I had several other things to attend to. That is why I decided to look into Thesis Geek and their services.
I heard from somewhere that the site looked promising and it did. It was simple, straightforward, and did not have unnecessary clutter that was meant for increasing company search rankings. How did I find out? When I clicked the first ever search result for a writing service I ever encountered.
Anyway, back to ThesisGeek. I needed someone who could edit and proofread my thesis so I checked their site. They cater only to PhDs and Masters students, so I was hoping they could improve my thesis on that level even though I was still an undergraduate.
I checked the testimonials and Thesis Geek reviews. They all seemed promising, although it was a bit strange that they only posted first names of random people. I can understand the need for anonymity, but it was not enough to go on.
Still, they seemed to look and sound professional from the beginning. They promised to deliver the proofread and edited thesis within a day. Before I ordered from them, I checked if they had discounts, coupon codes, or even a promo code. I found none. I guess modern sites like these do not add those. I usually find one when I look at a review site or from online reviews from students like me.
In terms of prices, ThesisGeek.com seems to be on par with the normal rates. They start at $22.99 and move up from there. I was ordering an edit so I had a cheaper rate. The problem came when I received my thesis. It looked like nothing changed. Some parts looked like they were drastically changed for the worse.
I know they said PhD writing, but they did not have to go overboard with the euphemisms. My thesis sounded like an idiot wrote it. I asked for a revision and the new writer made it worse. They changed more pages that looked unreadable to even the most educated person on earth.
I had to revert it to the original document. At present, I am taking time to edit and proofread it myself until I find an alternative. My rating for them? A 4/10.
